Basketball Game Preview: Northstar Christian Academy Knights vs. Iroquois Redhawks

Having just played yesterday, the Northstar Christian Academy Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Iroquois Redhawks at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northstar Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Iroquois likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, Northstar Christian Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 70-65 to Sodus. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (59), the Knights still had to take the loss.

Iroquois has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-51 heartbreaker at the hands of Sweet Home.

Northstar Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Iroquois, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Northstar Christian Academy came up short against Iroquois when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 65-57. Can Northstar Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
