Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Petersburg). They escaped with a win on Wednesday against the Frankfort Falcons by the margin of a single free throw, 77-76. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 84-53 victory the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

The win got Petersburg back to even at 5-5. As for Frankfort, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Petersburg will venture away from home to square off against East Hardy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Frankfort has already played their next game (against Grafton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
