Volleyball Recap: Flowing Wells Comes Up Short

Flowing Wells was the 3-1 winner over Buena when they last played one another on April 1st, but their luck changed this time around. The Caballeros came up short against the Colts on Friday, falling 3-0. The Caballeros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Flowing Wells ultimately came up short, they really made Buena work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 26-24.

Daniel Coronado paced Flowing Wells' offense, picking up 12 kills. Coronado got some help from Chris Anaya-Ashe and his 24 assists.

Flowing Wells now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Buena, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-12.

Flowing Wells has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Cienega on the 29th. As for Buena, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Canyon del Oro on the 29th.
