Basketball Recap: Wynot Skates Past Osmond with Ease

Wynot put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 48-18 victory over the Osmond Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.

Despite the loss, Osmond still got an impressive performance from Kaleigh Miller, who posted six points and 13 rebounds.

Wynot pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Osmond, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wynot will welcome Homer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Homer knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Wynot likes a good challenge. As for Osmond, they will host Bloomfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
