Volleyball Recap: Green Hope Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Green Hope entered their match against Green Level on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Falcons fell 3-1 to the Gators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-27, 25-17.

Taylor Bruce paced Green Hope's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bruce got some help from Chloe Burbage and her 27 assists. Evelyn Carlson and Andrea Munoz Gonzalez kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Green Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 19-2. As for Green Level, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.

Green Hope wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Willow Spring on the 13th. As for Green Level, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Apex Friendship at 6:00 p.m.
