China Spring had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the Lago Vista Vikings 8-1. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won five matches by six runs or more so far this season.

China Spring's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Lago Vista, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

China Spring has already played their next contest, a 15-2 victory against New Diana on the 13th. As for Lago Vista, they will challenge Wimberley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
