Soccer Game Preview: Lake Minneola vs. East Ridge

The Lake Minneola Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the East Ridge Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Minneola is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Lake Minneola fell victim to Eustis and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, East Ridge and Windermere Prep finished up their matchup with a 3-3 draw on Wednesday.

Avery Post and Rylee Puglisi scored all three of East Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

With that draw, East Ridge's record moves to 8-4-2. As for Lake Minneola, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1.

Lake Minneola suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to East Ridge in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lake Minneola was down 4-0.
