Madison is 7-1-1 against Chardon since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Blue Streaks will welcome the Hilltoppers at 6:00 p.m.

Madison is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to nine goals last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Berkshire on Tuesday. They lost 4-1 to the Badgers. While losing is never fun, Madison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while Berkshire are ranked 78th).

Madison's goal came courtesy of Sienna Sidoti, who's now up to 12 this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chardon). They never let Riverside get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Chardon in their matchups with Riverside: they've now won three in a row.

Madison has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5-2 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matchups. As for Chardon, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Madison skirted past Chardon 1-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Do the Blue Streaks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hilltoppers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
