Softball Recap: Sabine Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Sabine finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Troup Tigers, falling 16-1. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Sabine saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Breanna Hill, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Sabine's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Troup, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-5.

Sabine does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Troup, they will venture away from home to take on Arp at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Troup will need to watch out since Arp has now posted at least ten runs in their last nine matches.
