Basketball Recap: Sevastopol Takes a Loss

Sevastopol was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sturgeon Bay Clippers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Clippers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-52 back in December of 2024.

Sevastopol's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Sturgeon Bay, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12.

Sevastopol has already played their next contest, a 73-44 loss against Algoma on the 11th. As for Sturgeon Bay, they will host Kewaunee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Kewaunee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games.
