Football Game Preview: St. James Sharks vs. Conway Tigers

The St. James Sharks will take on the Conway Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

St. James is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Friday. They were beaten by Carolina Forest 48-0. While losing is never fun, the Sharks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Panthers are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, Conway played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 56-19 defeat at the hands of Myrtle Beach. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

St. James will have to contain Noah Legg as he made an impact in Conway's last game. He threw for 245 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 31 yards. A healthy portion of Legg's aerial production (91 yards to be exact) went to Jordan Jenkins.

Conway's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for St. James, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-5.
