Football Recap: Maricopa Institute of Technology Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sequoia Charter last Saturday, Maricopa Institute of Technology came back down to earth. The Iron Eagles fell 36-28 to Sequoia Pathfinder Verrado Way on Saturday. The Iron Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Sequoia Pathfinder Verrado Way apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Maricopa Institute of Technology's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sequoia Pathfinder Verrado Way, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Maricopa Institute of Technology will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wickenburg Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Sequoia Pathfinder Verrado Way, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sequoia Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
