Soccer Game Preview: North Lamar vs. Bullard

North Lamar is 0-3 against Bullard since January of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up.

Last Tuesday, North Lamar came up short against Pleasant Grove and fell 4-2.

Meanwhile, Bullard entered their tilt with Cumberland Academy on Friday with 16 consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 17. Their defense stepped up to hand the Knights a 13-0 shutout. The Panthers' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five games.

Bullard pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 48 goals over those seven matches. As for North Lamar, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

North Lamar suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Bullard in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can North Lamar avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
