Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Garrison

Garrison came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Center-Stanton Wildcats 52-29. Given the Troopers' advantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Wildcats are ranked 115th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Garrison is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Center-Stanton, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Garrison will have a chance to go back-to-back against Center-Stanton: the pair will be back at it again later today.
