Basketball Recap: Herkimer Takes a Loss

Herkimer lost to Holland Patent back in January of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Magicians took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Knights. The Magicians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Herkimer now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Holland Patent, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Herkimer will host Utica Academy of Science at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Magicians will be up against the Atoms' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.86 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Holland Patent, they will be playing at home against Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
