Basketball Recap: Warren County Takes a Loss

Warren County lost against James Wood back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warren County Wildcats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 51-50 to the James Wood Colonels. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Warren County's loss came despite strong showings from Adrian Craig and Ethan Bare. Craig went 8 of 18 en route to 23 points and seven boards, while Bare almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. The contest was Craig's third in a row with at least 16 points.

Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for James Wood, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Warren County has already played their next match, a 61-45 win against Manassas Park on the 7th. As for James Wood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-52 loss against Millbrook on the 7th.
