Volleyball Recap: Edison Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Edison, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Catholic Central Crusaders on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Wildcats were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Crusaders, so the Wildcats were just returning the favor.

While Edison won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-12.

Edison found their leader in sophomore Bella Cronin, who had ten digs.

Edison was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August of 2024.

Edison's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Catholic Central, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison will head out to face off against Indian Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Catholic Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Bellaire at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
