Football Recap: Cinco Ranch Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Cougars on Friday. Cinco Ranch took a 24-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tomball. While losing is never fun, Cinco Ranch can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Tomball is ranked 55th).

Although Cinco Ranch took the loss, they still got scores from Jacob Chevez and Marcus Gadlin.

Ian Thomas was a one-man wrecking crew For Tomball. as he rushed for 162 yards and a pair of TDs.

This is the second loss in a row for Cinco Ranch and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Tomball, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Cinco Ranch wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 42-3 win against Seven Lakes on the 12th. As for Tomball, they have also already played their next game, a 35-34 defeat against Klein Collins on the 12th.
