Softball Recap: Great Bridge Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

It's playoff time, and Great Bridge had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Kecoughtan Warriors on Monday by a score of 4-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Great Bridge has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Kecoughtan, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Great Bridge beat the Warriors by a score of 4-3 later that day.
