Volleyball Recap: Midwest Central Takes a Loss

Midwest Central lost against Athens back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders fell 2-0 to the Warriors.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16.

Midwest Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Athens, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Midwest Central is taking a road trip to square off against Illini Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Raiders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Athens, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Delavan at 7:00 p.m. The Warriors are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
