The Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Ripon Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ben Holt College Prep Academy is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
Ben Holt College Prep Academy put the finishing touches on their 16th blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They really took it to Lodi Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-25 win at home. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Ben Holt College Prep Academy had established a 40 point advantage.
It was another big night for Tayden Collins, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. Collins is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Asa Gonsalves, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Ripon unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 54-42 to Ripon Christian. Ripon has not had much luck with Ripon Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Ripon got a solid performance out of Landon Gillespie, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Marcus Madoski, who scored five points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
Ben Holt College Prep Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. As for Ripon, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-7.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Ben Holt College Prep Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 69.1 points per game. However, it's not like Ripon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 58 points per game. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Ben Holt College Prep Academy suffered a grim 69-47 defeat to Ripon in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Ben Holt College Prep Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
