Baseball Recap: Eagle Rock Takes a Loss

If Eagle Rock was riding high fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Lincoln last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell just short of the Bravo Knights by a score of 6-5 on Wednesday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Jaden Jimenez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. He has become a key player for Eagle Rock: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 2-11 otherwise.

Eagle Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Bravo, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-14.

While Eagle Rock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:15 p.m. on Friday.
