While Unaka's victory against Happy Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Unaka narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Happy Valley 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rangers have posted since March 23, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Kacie Bare, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Brooklyn Campbell was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Unaka and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Happy Valley, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Unaka will head out to face off against West Greene at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Happy Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Hampton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
