Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Mustangs vs. Lowell Cardinals

The Lincoln Mustangs will challenge the Lowell Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Thursday, Lincoln made easy work of Galileo and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Lincoln won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-12, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Lowell was able to grind out a solid win over Balboa on Friday, taking the game 3-1. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 19-25, 25-23, 25-16.

Lowell's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Lincoln, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-4.

Lincoln came out on top in a nail-biter against Lowell in their previous meeting on April 9th, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
