Basketball Recap: Loudonville Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Loudonville's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past the Northmor Golden Knights with a 34-29 win. That's more bragging rights for the Redbirds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Golden Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Riley Cooper, who posted eight points. Ryann Brinkman was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds.

Loudonville's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5. As for Northmor, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loudonville will challenge Norwayne at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northmor, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Mansfield Christian at 7:30 p.m. Mansfield Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Northmor surely won't give up without a fight.
