While Falls Lake didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the Vance Charter Knights with a sharp 6-0 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Falls Lake, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Vance Charter with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nathan Stines (2), Devin Blalock (2), Caleb Morton, and Camden Schneider.

Falls Lake is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those six matchups. As for Vance Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1-1.

Looking ahead, Falls Lake will head out on the road to take on Excelsior Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vance Charter, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against South Granville at 5:00 p.m.
