Real Life Christian Academy can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Landmark Christian 71-34 on the road.
Real Life Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Leewood Whitfield out in front who scored 15 points along with seven assists and four steals. Whitfield is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tysen Miller, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, St. John Lutheran's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell 55-45 to Cedar Key.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Brody Gravante, who scored nine points along with five rebounds. Bryce Disimile was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Real Life Christian Academy's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for St. John Lutheran, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Real Life Christian Academy against the Saints in their previous meeting last Friday as the team secured a 79-52 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Gravante, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
