Basketball Recap: Cascade Extends Road Winning Streak to Six + How To Watch

Cascade proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 49) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-56 victory over the Wilton Beavers. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Beavers, too.

Cascade pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points over those games. As for Wilton, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cascade is set to face off against their familiar foe Monticello at 7:30 p.m. on the 16th. Meanwhile, Wilton will challenge rival Anamosa at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
