Softball Recap: Castle Takes a Loss

After flying high against Evansville Harrison last Tuesday, Castle came back down to earth. The Knights fell 5-1 to the Zionsville Eagles on Friday.

Castle saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sadie Winsett, who went 2-for-3 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Winsett hit this season.

Castle has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Zionsville, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coincidentally, Castle and Zionsville will both be playing Cascade the next time they take the field. The Knights will host the Cadets at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
