Volleyball Recap: Thomasville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Thomasville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against Trinity, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Trinity this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-3, 25-2, 25-4.

Trinity got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Avalynn Johnson out in front who had 26 assists and two aces. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 45 games she's played dating back to last season. Avery Moffitt was another key player, getting 11 kills and six digs.

Thomasville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Thomasville will face off against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity, they will take on West Davidson at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
