Basketball Game Preview: Nokomis Warriors vs. Lawrence Bulldogs

Nokomis is 1-9 against Lawrence since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Nokomis Warriors will host the Lawrence Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Nokomis was beaten by Cony 68-31. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Rams are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, Lawrence put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 70-43 win over Skowhegan. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Nokomis and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Lawrence, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0.
