Northside - Pinetown is a perfect 10-0 against Southside since December of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Panthers will face off against the Seahawks at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Northside - Pinetown and nine for Southside.

On Tuesday, Northside - Pinetown came up short against East Carteret and fell 3-1.

While Northside - Pinetown ultimately came up short, they really made East Carteret work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-24, 23-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Southside came up short against Pamlico County on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Southside was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 25-17.

Southside's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Northside - Pinetown, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Northside - Pinetown took their win against Southside when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
