Volleyball Recap: Jonesville Comets vs. Tecumseh Indians
Jonesville was the 3-1 winner over Tecumseh when they last played one another back in November of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Comets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians on Thursday. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12.
Morgan Wood paced Jonesville's offense, picking up five kills. Wood got some help from Olivia Babcock and her five assists. Jayda Rathbun controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Jonesville's loss dropped their record down to 13-13-1. As for Tecumseh, they pushed their record up to 31-1 with the victory, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season.
Looking ahead, Jonesville is taking a road trip to take on Pennfield at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tecumseh, they will face off against Pinckney at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
