Basketball Recap: Panther Creek Comes Up Short

Panther Creek lost against Menard back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panther Creek Panthers were outmatched by the Menard Yellowjackets and fell 55-14. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1444th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 640th).

Panther Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Menard, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3.

Panther Creek will take on Paint Rock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Menard, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lohn at 6:00 p.m.
