Basketball Recap: Chaminade Takes a Loss

Chaminade lost against St. Anthony back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chaminade Flyers took a 66-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Anthony's Friars. The Flyers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Anthony's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kevin Moore, who went 6 for 12 en route to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Mannix, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 13 points and seven rebounds.

Chaminade's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-5. As for St. Anthony's, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Chaminade will be playing at home against Iona Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Anthony's, they will take on St. Mary's at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
