Basketball Recap: Reagan Bison vs. Coral Park Rams
It was fun while it lasted, but Reagan's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 39-24 to the Coral Park Rams. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Several Bison players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mariangel Perez, who posted four points in addition to seven boards and five assists. The dominant performance gave Perez a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Camila Reyes, who went 6 for 14 on her way to 12 points and six rebounds.
Coral Park found their leader in sophomore Greisy Perdomo, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten steals. Perdomo's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elisabel Cordiz, who had 11 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals.
Having lost for the first time this season, Reagan fell to 3-1. As for Coral Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.
Reagan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 victory against Hialeah Gardens on the 11th. As for Coral Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-28 loss against TERRA Environmental on the 9th.
