Volleyball Recap: Hagerty Takes a Loss

Hagerty suffered their biggest defeat since March 4th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Lake Howell Silverhawks. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Silverhawks: they've now lost seven in a row.

While Hagerty was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lake Howell's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-19.

Gavin Miller paced Hagerty's offense, picking up eight kills. Miller got some help from Caden Houston and his 16 assists.

Hagerty's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Lake Howell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Coincidentally, Hagerty and Lake Howell will both be playing Atlantic the next time they take the court. Lake Howell will head out to face Atlantic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Hagerty will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
