Vista Murrieta entered their tilt with Murrieta Mesa on Friday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 8-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Vista Murrieta got a great performance from Dylan Berentis as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Berentis has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ryland Duson was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Jaylen Adams was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Vista Murrieta hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive matches.

Vista Murrieta pushed their record up to 19-5-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Murrieta Mesa, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-11.
