15 must be Fountain Inn's lucky number: they beat Southside with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Fury didn't even let the Tigers on the board, marking the Fury's second-straight 15-0 shutout. The Fury haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Zoey Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, earning two runs and two stolen bases. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played.

In other batting news, Fountain Inn got a massive performance out of Taylor Ford, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those three runs gave Ford a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sasha Green, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Fountain Inn hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in ten consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Wade Hampton fell victim to Gaffney and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Indians. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Generals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Wade Hampton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Fountain Inn, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Fountain Inn hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .356. However, it's not like Wade Hampton struggles in that department as they've averaged .349. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
