Softball Recap: Marlborough Takes a Loss

Marlborough managed to slip by Algonquin Regional the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers wound up with the same score they had in their last game (12-6), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Erin Seder made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Avery Horrigan was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Marlborough's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Algonquin Regional, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marlborough will take on Nashoba Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Algonquin Regional, they will face off against Westborough at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
