Even though Mead Hall Episcopal School has not done well against Horse Creek Academy recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Mead Hall Episcopal School snuck past Horse Creek Academy with a 39-34 win. Mead Hall Episcopal School didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.
Mead Hall Episcopal School's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Catherine Abbott, who scored eight points, and Abbe Stanley, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stanley has scored all season.
Meanwhile, sadly, South Aiken Baptist Christian is still looking for their first win of the season after seven contests. They had to suffer through a rough 40-9 loss at the hands of Curtis Baptist. While losing is never fun, South Aiken Baptist Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 281st in South Carolina, while Curtis Baptist is ranked 118th in Georgia).
Mead Hall Episcopal School's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for South Aiken Baptist Christian, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
Everything went Mead Hall Episcopal School's way against South Aiken Baptist Christian in their previous matchup back in January as Mead Hall Episcopal School made off with a 47-22 victory.
