Basketball Game Preview: Bloomfield Bombers vs. Waterloo Tigers

The Bloomfield Bombers will face off against the Waterloo Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Bloomfield humbled East Rochester with a 71-15 victory. Bloomfield has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 34 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Waterloo waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Blue Devils 51-33. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Blue Devils are ranked 328th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bloomfield pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Waterloo, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
