St. John had won 11 straight road games dating back to last season and Morgan Stewart did her part to make it 12 on Sunday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the St. John's Cadets made off with a 68-67 victory over Elizabeth Seton thanks in part to Stewart, who went 12 of 24 on her way to 33 points and five assists. Her afternoon made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

Mckenzie Small was another key player, putting up eight points and seven boards. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.5% field goal percentage.

St. John's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Elizabeth Seton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 16-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, St. John's will face off against Bishop McNamara at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elizabeth Seton, they will host St. Mary's Ryken at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Elizabeth Seton is facing St. Mary's Ryken at the right time seeing as St. Mary's Ryken is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
