Basketball Game Preview: South Whidbey Falcons vs. Tyee Titans

Having just played yesterday, the South Whidbey Falcons will get right back to it and host the Tyee Titans at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Whidbey has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 176 points over their last three matches.

While South Whidbey didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They enjoyed a cozy 55-37 victory over Granite Falls on Friday.

Meanwhile, Tyee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Foster 93-30. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 44th).

Tyee's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for South Whidbey, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-1.
