While Wellington put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Winfield. The Crusaders blew past the Vikings 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Wellington pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Winfield, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wellington will square off against Pittsburg on Friday. As for Winfield, they will challenge Douglass on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
