Baseball Recap: Fresno Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Firebaugh on Wednesday, Fresno Christian came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Fowler Redcats on Thursday, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 on Tuesday.

Fresno Christian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Fowler, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fresno Christian will face off against Minarets at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fowler, they will square off against Kingsburg at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
