Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). They strolled past the Belvidere Bucs with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 27-12. That's more bragging rights for the J-Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Belvidere still got an impressive performance from Mario Beasley, who rushed for 72 yards and a pair of TDs. Beasley showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 59 yards. Nic Alvarez helped out on the ground, rushing for 83 yards.

With the victory, Jefferson broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4. As for Belvidere, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
