            Softball Preview: Hackensack Comets vs. Westwood Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            The Hackensack Comets will square off against the Westwood Cardinals at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Hackensack managed to slip by Paramus the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Comets came up short against  the Spartans on Wednesday, falling  17-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
  Briana Darling made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
Meanwhile, Westwood was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They lost  14-4 to Ramsey.
  Caroline Rome was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 Hackensack has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record  this season. As for Westwood, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
