Baseball Recap: Lake Region Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Lake Region and Greely squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lake Region had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rangers, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Lakers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

With the loss, Lake Region broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-5. As for Greely, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.
