Basketball Recap: Norwood Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ashland last Tuesday, Norwood came back down to earth. The Norwood Mustangs fell just short of the Westwood Wolverines by a score of 44-42 on Friday. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 60-54.

Norwood's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Westwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Looking ahead, Norwood will welcome Holliston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westwood, they will venture away from home to face off against Hopkinton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
